•  Defense verdict at trial on behalf of an emergency department attending in a wrongful death case where it was alleged that our client failed to diagnose the patient’s cardiac condition. 

• Defense verdict at trial on behalf of an internist in a wrongful death case alleging that our client prescribed a contraindicated medication to a geriatric patient.  

• Defense verdict at trial on behalf of an anesthesiologist that was alleged to have negligently performed a left supraclavicular nerve block causing permanent nerve injury debilitating the patient’s arm and shoulder.  

• Defense verdict at trial on behalf of an orthopedic surgeon in a case where plaintiff alleged that his leg and nerves were injured during a procedure to repair the Achilles tendon leading to severe permanent and debilitating injury.   

• Defense verdict for a general surgeon at trial against claims of failing to properly treat a postoperative infection and negligent wound care following a laparoscopic hernia repair patient.  

• Defense verdict in a wrongful death case in the Bronx in favor of our client, a gastroenterologist, against allegations that our client caused a cecal perforation leading to a lengthy course of acute renal failure, sepsis and death.  

• Defense verdict in the Bronx in favor of a plastic surgeon against allegations of a negligently performed abdominoplasty and failure to diagnose and treat a post-op wound infection, resulting in permanent pain and suffering and disfigurement.  

• Directed verdict in favor of our client, an internist/geriatrician employed by a nursing home in Westchester County in an alleged wrongful death action for failure to provide adequate nutrition and timely diagnose an infection.  

• Discontinuance during trial in a wrongful death case in Bronx on behalf of a geriatrics attending at a nursing home involving allegations of failing to properly evaluate, treat and transfer the patient.  

• Won summary judgment on behalf of a geriatrician employed by a nursing home in Westchester County in a case alleging negligent treatment of a resident who was in rehabilitation following a total knee replacement.  

• Won summary judgment on behalf of an internist in a case involving alleged failure to diagnose lung cancer.  

• Won summary judgment in favor of a gastroenterologist in an action where the elderly plaintiff claimed an allergic reaction to a component of two antibiotics prescribed by our client.  

• Discontinuance on behalf of a staff physician at an assisted living facility against claims that the physician improperly evaluated and classified a resident on admission.  

• Dismissal on behalf of another internist/geriatrician at a New York City nursing home, in a case alleging a failure to prevent and treat pressure ulcers.  

• Discontinuances in favor of the medical director and an attending physician of a New York City nursing home on the eve of trial in a wrongful death action involving an alleged failure to diagnose an infection during a complicated nursing home admission status post-CVA.  

• Won summary judgment on behalf of two Emergency physician clients in a case where it was alleged that our clients failed to diagnose and properly treat a stroke.  

• Won summary judgment on behalf of an ENT physician in a case where it was alleged that our client failed to diagnose a rare systemic autoimmune disorder.
