Charles D. Lohrfink, Jr.

Chuck Lohrfink is the firm’s Senior Managing Partner, and his clients include many of the top-rated physicians, medical centers, hospitals, nursing homes and healthcare providers in the New York metropolitan area, as well as many well-known attorneys, law firms and other professional service providers.

Born in Yonkers, New York, where he grew up and attended public schools, Chuck thereafter attended Georgetown and majored in Government. He was a four-year member of Georgetown’s varsity tennis team, which he captained. Attending Georgetown was, in many ways, a life-changing event for Chuck, who became the first member of his family to graduate from college.

Following graduation from Georgetown, Chuck returned home and attended St. John’s University School of Law. After graduation, he immediately went to work as an Assistant Attorney General in the Office of the New York State Special Prosecutor, which at that time, was led by current U.S. District Court Judge, John F. Keenan.

While working in the Special Prosecutor’s Office and prosecuting cases in Westchester County, Chuck was introduced to Edgar Campbell, who referred him to his friend, Donald Mead, the Senior Partner of the law firm of Mead, Dore & Vouté, the predecessor firm to Vouté, Lohrfink, McAndrew & Meisner, LLP.

Widely considered as one of the leading medical defense attorneys in New York State over the past four decades, Chuck has won countless jury trials while defending physicians and healthcare providers in virtually every medical specialty, along with medical facilities, including skilled nursing and rehabilitation centers.
