VLMMR mourns the passing of founding partner Arthur J. Vouté

It is with great sadness we announce the passing of VLMMR founding partner, Arthur J. Vouté. Arthur was legendary; a distinguished trial lawyer who earned numerous professional distinctions. Arthur was both fiercely intelligent and larger than life.

In the 1960s, shortly after graduating from Fordham Law School, a young Arthur Vouté went to work for Donald A. Mead and Dorothy Dore, ultimately joining them as partners in a firm that evolved into today’s Vouté, Lohrfink, McAndrew, Meisner & Roberts, LLP.

Arthur loved his family of 3 children and 12 grandchildren and his wife of 55 years, Roseanne. He was funny, witty, incredibly well read, loved outdoor handball, and was loyal to his friends, partners and associates. Arthur’s integrity was beyond reproach; he was respected and revered by the bench and bar. Arthur loved our Firm and was immensely proud of our work as well as the strong reputation our VLMMR family has earned. VLMMR loved Arthur and we will all miss him dearly.
