William G. Morris

Bill Morris’s practice includes varied aspects of civil litigation and he has devoted his career to the defense of professional service providers. His clients include physicians, attorneys, architects, general contractors, and insurance carriers. More recently, Bill has worked in conjunction with the firm in extensively planning focused defense strategies for litigation related to COVID-19.

Bill joined VLMMR in 2014, and previously practiced at McDonough Law, LLP – a highly respected professional liability defense firm in Westchester County – until the attorneys from that office brought their practice to VLMMR.

Bill was admitted to the New York Bar in 2009. He is also admitted to the Bars of the United States Court of Appeals for the Second Circuit, the United States District Court for the Southern District of New York and the United States District Court for the Eastern District of New York.

In 2008, Bill graduated from Hofstra University School of Law and earned Dean’s List Honors.  His article, “Constitutional Solutions to the Problem of Diplomatic Crime and Immunity,” was selected for publication in the Hofstra Law Review (36 Hofstra L. Rev. 601) in 2007.

Bill completed his undergraduate work at Boston University where he double majored in history and political science.  He was selected as the recipient of a full merit scholarship in American history and graduated magna cum laude.
